Mark Van Hare is a composer and sound designer working in New York City and regionally. In New York, he composed original music and designed the sound for Polaroid Stories at The School of Drama at The New School, Couriers and Contrabands at The Barrow Group Theatre, The Upper Room with Rady&Bloom at The New Ohio Theatre, Gordy Crashes at IRT, Mr. Landing Takes a Fall at The Flea Theater, In Fields Where They Layat the New Ohio Theatre, Happily After Ever and Remission at the Ford Studio at Signature Theatre, The In-Between at 4th St. Theatre (NYTW), andLook Upon Our Lowliness at Harlem School of the Arts Theatre. Regionally, his work includes Romeo and Juliet and The Seagull at Opera House Arts in Stonington, Maine; Icarus at University Theatre with The Dramat at Yale University; and Generation Sex at The Los Angeles Theatre Center.
