Mickey Theis

Mickey Theis is an actor and musician, originally from Denver, Colorado. Recently, he received his MFA from the Yale School of Drama, where he was the proud recipient of the Jerome L. Greene Endowment Fund Scholarship and the Oliver Thorndike Award in Acting. His credits include: The Lincoln Center Theatre production of Six Degrees of Separation, The OFF BROADWAY Production of Posterity, and at Yale include As You Like It, Peter Pan, The Visit, Cloud Nine, and Vieux Carré and he made his professional acting debut in the 2013 Yale Repertory Theatre production of Hamlet, featuring Paul Giamatti. His Yale Cabaret credits include The Maids, Tartuffe, Cowboy Mouth, and reWilding. As a musician, he has worked independently and with Motel Motel, a band with which he toured internationally and recorded New Denver (2008) and The Big Island (2010). He has self-released one solo EP, No Saints (2008) and is currently writing new material for a full-length album, Range Songs, set to be released in December, 2014. He appeared in New York Stage and Film’s and The Acting Company’s productions of Desire.
