​Rich can be seen as Fritz Haber opposite Geoffrey Rush in Genius: Einstein produced and directed by Ron Howard for Nat Geo, recurring on Billions for Showtime and  as Attorney General James Speed opposite Daniel Day Lewis in Steven Spielberg’s film Lincoln.

He can be seen now on Broadway in Paula Vogel’s play Indecent.  Some recent stage appearances include with Larry David in his play Fish in the Dark on Broadway, as Yogi Berra in Bronx Bombers (Primary Stages), and as Albany in King Lear opposite Sam Waterston at the Public Theatre.  He performed in the Tony Award Winning Revival of The Normal Heart (Winner of the Drama Desk Award Outstanding Ensemble Performance, dirs George C. Wolfe & Joel Grey) and The Merchant of Venice (w/ Al Pacino, dir Dan Sullivan). Sam in Odets’ Awake and Sing directed by Bart Sher (Drama Desk Award) and Cymbeline (dir Mark Lamos). Also on Broadway: The Country Girl (dir Mike Nichols), Julius Caesar (w/ Denzel Washington, dir Dan Sullivan), School for Scandal (dir Gerald Freedman).
