BIO:

Eric Lane is an award-winning playwright, filmmaker and book editor. His plays have been performed in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Israel, Australia and China. They are published by Dramatists Play Service, Playscripts, Dramatic Publishing and others. His short films have screened worldwide, including at the British Film Institute and the Director’s Guild of America. With Nina Shengold, he has co-edited 14 contemporary play anthologies, earning a Lambda Literary Award nomination. For TV’s Ryan’s Hope, Eric received a Writer’s Guild Award. Honors include the Berrilla Kerr Playwriting Award and the La MaMa Playwright Award. He has received fellowships at Yaddo, VCCA and St. James Cavalier in Malta. Eric is a member of the Ensemble Studio Theatre Playwrights Unit and an honors graduate of Brown University.
