BIO:

Lynn is a resident playwright at New Dramatists, Playwright-In-Residence at Women’s Project Theater, and a two-time recipient of an Ensemble Studio Theatre/Alfred P. Sloan New Play Commission, mostly recently in 2015. Full-length plays include: In The Blue (recently workshopped at New Dramatists), Man and Beast (TheatreWorks 2015 New Works Festival), Apple Cove (produced by Women’s Project Theater; Todd Mountain Theater Project), Goldor $ Mythyka: A Hero Is Born (commissioned/produced by New Georges; Loyola University, Baltimore), Washed Up On The Potomac (one-act version produced by Centerstage – Baltimore; EST Marathon), Progress In Flying (EST/Sloan Commission, Humana finalist), Back From The Front (produced by Working Theater; NYC Fringe Festival; published in “Out of Time & Place”), and Nighthawks (produced by Studio Theatre; Willow Cabin Theatre; published by Samuel French). Lynn’s work has also been produced/developed by: Actors Theatre of Louisville, The Barrow Group, Barrington Stage, Red Bull Theatre, Fault Line Theatre, The Brick, The New Group, Geva, New Harmony Project, SPACE on Ryder Farm, Lark Play Development Center (Writing Fellow), and terraNOVA Collective (Groundbreakers). Her monologue The Amazing America Auction, commissioned by Centerstage and filmed by Hal Hartley, was subsequently included in Hartley’s feature film, “My America.” Currently, Lynn is commissioned by University of California Santa Barbara, and she is developing her darkly comic war-time play, Bernhard, inspired by the life of Thomas Bernhard. On the TV front, Lynn is developing two pilots with Emmy-winner Carrie Preston, and she’s co-creator/co-writer of the web series Darwin, which was named one of the Top Ten Best Web Series of 2015 by Paste Magazine.
