Elevator Heart – (Musical, 8W) An all-female ensemble musical. The open mic night to drop all mics.
Loving Leo – (Musical, 1M 1W) When childless middle-aged couple Lena and David take in Lena’s odd-duck step-father Leo after the death of her mother, the little cracks in their marriage become huge, gaping holes, forcing them to ask: who is family—and who isn’t?
The Memory Show – (Musical, 2W) A two-person comic tragedy about a woman who has just been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and her estranged daughter who moves back home to Brighton Beach, Brooklyn to take care of her.
Refrigerator Mother – (3M 1W) When their college-educated son returns home, a blue collar family in the ’90s must deal with the changing economy, the shifting needs of a developmentally disabled son, and the destruction of their very own American Dream.
Things I Left on Long Island – (1M 4W) When 28-year-old Marny finds a lump in her breast, she uses it as an excuse to pretend she isn’t flunking out of adulthood and moves home to Long Island to live with her mother. As she vies with her family for the audience’s attention, Marny must either succumb to the whims of a family in crisis or take back her play—and her life.
