He grew up in London where he attended the Central School of Speech and Drama. He became an American citizen in 2011. US Theatre work includes:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Broadway:<\/strong> <em>Hangmen, Ink,<\/em> <em>The Ferryman, The Importance of Being Earnest<\/em> and\u00a0<em>Waiting in the Wings. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Off-Broadway:<\/strong> <em>London Assurance <\/em>and\u00a0<em>The Seafarer<\/em> (Irish Rep),\u00a0<em>House and Garden (<\/em>Manhattan Theatre Club), and\u00a0<em>Woman in Black<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seasons at:<\/strong> Gable Stage. Palm Beach Dramaworks, The Guthrie, The Alley, The Mark Taper Forum, The Wilma, The Rep, Westport Country Playhouse, Florida Stage, Maltz Jupiter, The Old Globe and The New Jersey Shakespeare Festival.<\/p>\n<p><strong>US TV includes:<\/strong><em> Law &amp; Order: Criminal Intent, The Blacklist: Redemption, Pan-Am, <\/em>and <em>Zero Hour. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>In the UK, he worked at The Royal National Theatre for five seasons, in the West End of London as well as regionally and on British TV. In\u00a0Australia he\u00a0has worked for The Sydney Theatre Company and in New\u00a0Zealand at\u00a0The Court. He has taught and directed in London, San Diego, and Beijing. His writing includes plays and short stories for BBC Radio.
