Cian Genaro

Cian Genaro born and raised in NYC, started acting in his schools theater program where he played among others, (Tybalt) in Romeo and Juliet, (Demetrius) A Midsummers Nights Dream, (Ben Ross) The Wave and (Hamlet) Hamlet. Having watched Cian’s performance as Hamlet, casting director Eve Pomerance asked if he would audition for a film she was casting, Barry Alexander Brown’s Son of The South for the role of John Hill. Barry hired Cian, giving him his first professional role as an actor.  Since then Cian went on to study acting at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in their two year Conservatory program, graduating in 2022. He has performed on stage for the Mirror Theater LTD/ GAAR’s productions of Bernard Pomerance’s play Hands of Light and The Diary of Anne Frank directed by Sabra Jones, (Orsino) Twelfth Night directed by Nicola Murphy and (Willy Batzler) Martyr directed by Graham Schmidt. Most recently, he will co-star (Robert Ionna) in Netflix’s Television Limited Series Zero Day.
